What Changes Are In Store from 24X?
24X has officially announced plans to shake up the market and dive into quotation and trading as a national securities exchange for Nasdaq-listed securities! This powerhouse is set to go LIVE September 29, 2025—get excited!
But that’s not all! The launch will happen in TWO electrifying stages. The first explosion will hit in the second half of 2025. The second stage hinges on changes to Equity Data Plans to REVOLUTIONIZE overnight trading hours, with additional filings confirmed by the SEC. Stay tuned—more updates are coming your way!
What Does This Mean for UTP Data Feeds?
When 24X rises as a national securities exchange, it’ll be dishing out QUOTATION and TRADE data like never before via the UTP data feeds. Here’s what you need to know:
- UTP Quotation Data Feed (UQDF): Subscribers brace yourselves! You’ll receive 24X BBO quotations via the UTP Participant Quotation message format for ALL Nasdaq-listed securities—with the market center originator identifier value of “G” leading the way in the UQDF message header! You’ll also spot that “G” value during the National Best Bid and Offer (NBBO) Appendage and Closing Quote Recap messages! This is HUGE!
- UTP Trade Data Feed (UTDF): Get ready for 24X trade transactions to go wild! They’ll be flashed out with the “G” market center originator identifier, along with a sub-market center identifier of “space” via UTDF! Talk about an explosion of market data!
